Default fan problem

I tried searching but it says server is down. Any ways, my fans will run even when my car is turned off. Only way they do not run is if i disconnect my battery. Is this a common problem or normal?

Your mechanic who ever that may be made them direct meaning they run straight from the battery. Your fan switch probably blew and so they did that so they would at least turn on and not let your car over heat. Its not really bad just that your fan motors will burn out much quicker and might have to replace them in a few months. Just take it to a shop and tell them whats wrong and its done. Its quite easy to fix unless they tore or broke the plug.
