14 x 5 wheels and tires
I cant find any aftermarket wheels that are 14 x 5. Can anyone point me in the right direction. regardless of cost and design(1/3 piece)
Also, 225's will work on 14 x 5's right? I believe they do, but I needed a second opinion.
thank you..

What's your bolt pattern and offset range? Should be +/- 5mm but I don't know what yours is stock.
225/50 should be fine.
Work Equip 14x5 in +23 and +13

SSR Type C in +38, +45

I remember seeing a chart that had a list of wheel sizes. IIRC, it said the widest you can put on a 5.5 was a 205 series. im not 100% sure but that sounds about right. i cant find the chart now but ill see if i can pull it up later.

I think people on the scca forums were saying they put bigger sizes on regardless of what is recommended though.</TD></TR></TABLE>
definitely, for autocross, fit whatever fits in the wheel well
The guys at Discount Tire will probably look at you sideways when you try to get them mounted, but they'll usually do it. If not find a racer-friendly place.

I purchased a set of 205/55-R14 Avon Tech R's earlier this year and they were listed for rims 5.5-7". I've heard some of the R-compounds are wider than street tires of the same size callout, and these look as wide as a street 225 to me.
Don't know what year or model you have, but many had 14x5.5 size rims as stand alone optional equipment. If this was the case for your model, I think the rules would allow you to go with a 5.5" width.
