Default 85x89 Dyno numbers and times

Just about two months ago, I was unable to change my own fuel filter, but then I got ahold of a pdf file of the B18C5 helms manual. Since then I have rebuilt my complete engine with hard work, sweat, and tears. I used some CP 12:1 cr pistons, only to encounter a fuel starvation problem and thus ring and skirt failure. I have since upgraded to a Walbro 255lph fuel pump along with some 11:1 Wiseco pistons (that is right, lower compression) and there was no turning back from there. Here are the resluts of the Wiseco piston and CP piston change (along with fuel pump). The CP graph is red and the wiseco graph is blue.

The car ran 13.5 @ 107 mph with a 2.31 60ft on STREET TIRES!

Not bad-you want ~13:1 A/F though. Running it at 14:1 could cause engine failure in the long term.

If the 1st A/F is the way your engined is tuned then get that A/F closer to 13.1.

I agree with B19coupe.

BTW, nice job. You learn very quickly.

Thanks . The graphs above were not the final tune anyway. On the final tune I got a flat 13.5 A/F and made 219/160. The ignition and cam gears were untouched.
