i went to the track again today and finally without any problems [minus traction] made 4 clean runs. its definitely not my best driving but ill get it at soon as i get my ebc wired in or upgrade to slicks.
this is a stock b16a motor self tuned on eCtune with a holset he351cw @ 12psi trapping ALMOST 120mph.
car weight was 2330lbs last year and im around 194lbs.
60'___2.030
1/8___8.148
mph___91.50
1/4___12.360
mph___118.92
60'___2.097
1/8___8.148

1/4___12.354

60'___2.138
1/8___8.208

1/4___12.415

60'___2.107
1/8___8.209
mph___92.42
1/4___12.404
mph___118.79
i couldnt be happier with the way the car is running, i jst need to do something to help me get out of the hole. my 3y/o bfg dr's dont seem to be doing there job like they use to.
i have a vid of all of my runs i think and ill post that up later.
and the vid is up ***http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VWQi4m-L3Y***

thanks guys. im on e85. timing is very conservative do to me being a puss but mostly because both dynos in town are out of order.
I went 12.1 @115. You obviously have more in it. I rac some 22's on a GSR blades, also try e-braking the launch. You'll find the 60" drop a ****-ton

i ran 12.2@106 and even 12.3@90 last year. lol
cant run 22", they are to small. im topping out my 4th gear as im crossing the line on 23.09" bfg dr's.
i preload every time, if i didnt im sure something would have broke already.

really easy.
pull ebrake and start relasing the clutch.....slowly
light the first 2 staging lights
get on the 2step
preload the clutch even more and pull the ebrake to hold you back
you can lite the other 2 staging lights by letting of the ebrake a little
if that doesnt make since, watch this vid. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUSD2JCoVvE

I was about to do a search on preloading, then I started reading this thread, and it answered my question.
I'll be hitting the track soon, but I think my ET's will be hampered by an open diff and LS trans. I'll be running a stock internal LS Integra, 10 psi, street tuned.

So? Shift to 5th, it's still a acceleration gear. I ran 11.7@115 on 22's shifting well into 5th.

im not a big fan of 5th gear pulls. bad things tend to happen when you put so much more load on an already overloaded motor.
id rather run bigger tires and get better 60 foots then shift into 5th gear for a fraction of a second, which would probably make you trap little lower.

It's an .848 ratio, how the heck is it still an acceleration gear?

that is the goal.
im heading out again on friday but with the same setup. ill play with the 2step and what not to see if i can lower my 60' a little. 2step is set at 5700[fuel cut only] right now and its about right but as soon as boost comes on it just blows the tires off. tire pressure is 9psi on the passenger side and about 10-10.5psi on the drivers side.
anyone have any suggestions ?
