Made a small radiator problem a big problem
Last week i noticed a small crack at the top of my 97 accord radiator(original). Coolant was sitting on top of the fan...i tried JB but it didn't work, coolant still shot thru tiny hairpin crack. I added some Bars radiator stop leak and now my car is running hot. I need my car for transportation back and forth to work.Drained radiator, put in new coolant and no longer overheating.
Here is the problem: my fan runs constantly now even at normal operating temp. I was on highway for about 60 miles today and the temp gauge is going above the half way mark at about 70 mph. Once i take my foot off accelerator it goes back down to normal operating temp. I can live with the small leak but i want the fan off and the car to run at normal temp again..any help is appreciated
