If the series wants to grow, it has to try new tracks.
Remember this is Mothers Day weekend and the weather forecast was not the best.
I can say the weather was better then forecasted.
Next week is also Eppings normal Import event, so some guys just stayed home so they didn't have to race the faster cars and may be push theres to much.
The pay out's were good so may be next year they can get a better date and more cars will show up.
We all need to get to the tracks and support these events.

it was raining on friday night so saturday wasn't looking too good. the forecasters even said it, but it ended up being a beautiful day. i wouldn't want to make the journey either if it was going to remotely rain. oh well, maybe next year.

weather.com and a few local broadcasted stations said it would rain all day....
It was cloudy but the sun broke out and no rain at all...
I had a good time even with lack of racing but hopefully Nopi this year will be a good one

nah i know that. i was just talking ish.... the test and tune's are great. although paying 300 bucks in
Gas (for truck to tow) and race gas.
entry fee.
etc..
and a 3 hour drive..
kind of expensive for a test and tune..
but its cool that we still have something.. even if its kinda far.

Gary Gardella leads the bounty chase in Pro Front Wheel Drive thanks to his 7.437 second qualifying pass during race two of the nine race Battle of the Imports series presented by YoParts.com.
It was the inaugural Battle of the Imports event at New England Dragway, and based on the enthusiasm both on and off the track, it will hold a permanent spot on the track's annual schedule.
The show had something for everyone and lived up to its billing. Fans saw everything from great racing action to a stellar car show topped off by a wide range of activities in the midway area. Those who ignored the cool May conditions were not disappointed.
Fans who couldn't make it to the track were able to keep up with the day's activities thanks to a special webcast put together by YoParts.com. It was the first time Battle of the Imports used a four camera shoot that featured activities both on and off the track.
