i've searched but came up with nothing..lately i've notice ringing noise coming from the engine bay whenever i step on the gas pedal..it would get to a certain point then the ringing starts, if i keep accelerating the noise go away..if i keep the same pedal position the ringing still there..

pop the hood and play with the throttle plate and gave it some gas, it ring a little bit...what can i do to make this stop??

i have a 97 gsr swap on 95eg sedan..just installed the skunk2 IM with itr cable and bracket mods along with using the throttle body pulley from an 95 civic hb...works great..just the ringing when i step on the gas to go..if don't know if the throttle body plate is vibrating causing the ringing??

any idea??

are you sure its in the engine bay. could be an exhaust rattle.

 

Yeah, check for loose exhaust heat shields.

 

ummm yes i'm positive...like i said, i pop the hood..play with the TB pulley while the car is on..gave it some gas and i can hear it right on the TB..i don't know if the TB plate inside is vibrating causing the ringing or not..but i'm positive it's the TB or the tb pulley..maybe when i swapped out the pulley i might've tighten it too tight or i recoil the spring too much?? i dunno..i just don't know if it's ok to have that or not..
sound like pssssshhrings....almost like a vacuum being release and it have a ring at the end of it..kinda weird to describe though..
