Del sol problem
Ok i have a 93 del sol and when you start it up and drive mabey couple mins down the street and shut it off and come back in a few mins and try to start it it either wont start or it will start then die. so does anyone know whats wrong with it or were to start. i know its probably a fuel problem but thanks in advance.
could be many things. how old is your alternator and/or battery?
what kind of shape is your dizzy in?
when was the last time your fuel filter was changed?
did you check all of your fuses?

I've had the same problem before. When it won start try taking out your air filter and see it it will start. If so then it means your not getting enough air which could be because the filter is dirty.Do you get regular tuneups?Does the car run well?Is it automatic or manual?
Check your main relay under your dash, do a search on google for a diagram of where it is exactly located. This could be the cause of your problems if you can't figure out anything else.
Won't start, or won't crank ? if the latter, try cleaning/tightening the battery and solenoud terminals and check your ground cables from the engine to chassis, the one on the left of the engine low down. If not any of these, try checking the clutch safety switch is working correctly.
