power steering?

Default power steering?

ok so my 90 civic dx has power steering and i dont want it. is there anyway i can not run it by capping it off sp it dont dry out? like the steering rack. or just not run a belt cause its pointless on such a small car. and robs power.

i'd get the rack from a non-power steering car...like a crx. that will work much better than just using what you have without the pump

Just an FYI. I was looking at doing this but I found out the Power steering racks have a quicker steering ratio than the standard. I don't think you'll care unless your auto-x'ing and road racing. Just thought I'd chime in.
