Default 235/60-15 M&H fender/bumper clearance on an EG

Just wondering for those of you running the 235/60-15s on EG's if you had any rubbing on the fender or front bumper?

I test fit them on my car the other day and it seems very close to the fender (Cant even get a finger in between the tire and fender) -- but I'm going to try raising the car as high as it can go first.

I remember hearing you have to cut the front bumper a little but that might've been on an EK...

thanks

you have clearence. We played it safe and cut our fenders... and now we are able to lower the car alot! But as for stock fenders, DC, EG, EK you have room! possibly a small spacer to move the tire from the spindle. But you deff have room. We fit our 26" Hoosiers under the fender with no spacer, no problem.

Damn, that looks really close to the fender. I would like to see what others are doing as well. I bought these tires also but was planning on using them with a callos racing front end. Unfortunatley, I can't get in touch with him...

I would not run it that close. At speed, the tire will expand and once you let off the wheel will lock up in the fender causing a spin at the end of the track if your not careful.

Raised the hell out of my car to fit them .. Car stays that height anyways to fit slicks and keep alignment straight.

Here they are on my friend's car ..

Was buying these also, but I dont think I can raise my car high enough, I have 185/65/14 steelies on there now and at full height I can only get 3 fingers in the gap.

I had my ground control coilovers all the way up and it was driveable on my EG... would only rub when the wheel was turned all the way, def a bitch to turn without power steering though lol.

What do these tires measure out to really, i thought it was like 25.4 inch not a full 26 at least im remembering that from somewhere. I run 25 inch slicks on my car and have the fenders cut pretty good to get them to fit with it being lowered but was thinking of running these on the streets.

Also good to see the snky snky todamobile coming to life.

^^^^ looks good, I am just about to buy my wheels for these tires...... I am disputing to myself about running a 16" rim in the rear with a +1 height rear tire to not make the front wheel setup dwarf the rear, does anybody think that will look better or stupid.

I know this is not an appearance thread, but I am not feeling the jacked up look while the back looks like a go-cart tire.
