Default Will these springs fit my 98 Civic?

Will OEM springs from a 2000 Civic Si work with my 98 Civic coupe? Will it alter the ride or height?

It will fit, If i remember correctly the springs are stiffer than normal, I'm not sure if it'll affect the height.

if you have a DX (lighter) model with a sohc engine in it, the springs will raise the front like 5 inches higher than the back. It's because the SI is heavier and has a heavier engine, so the front springs are stiffer, and maybe longer.

Trust me, I know from experience.

I used stock ITR springs on my 97 DX and it lowered the car about half an inch all around, with no front end problems... oddly enough. And they were the best springs ive ever had..

I like the close-to-stock look

I have a Civic HX, which I think is a lighter model with a lighter engine. So, I suppose the front end will end up higher than the back!

I have been told it will look like a 4x4 since the Si is heavier...

yeah, most likely. I'd say just play it safe and get ITR springs, they dont lower your car that much and they are stiffer than the SI ones.. but not crazy stiff or anything, still pretty comfortable..

just a suggestion
