Default cam problems..

whats up fellas,

Me and my cousin been building my gsr for a while now built the bottom everything went smooth,slapped on the head got to the cams im using a ctr intake/gsr exhaust setup,slapped it on adjusted the valves,went to turn the CRANK and seems pretty TIGHT on the cams, seems like the exhaust not sure though-if anyone has had a similar problems or any suggestions your help would be greatly appreciated..

What seams tight? Like the cam doesn't want to turn? Assuming you have it timed right, did you check the cams for straightness before installing?

did you put any assembly lube on the cams? Not oil, assembly lube! If you did the make sure your cam caps are not scored. Check the head also where the cams ride, check for scoring.
