Which is better for the eyes...Amber or White guage cluster lighting?

Which is better for the eyes...Amber or White guage cluster lighting?

Just wondering, I do a lot of night driving for delivires and late night travel....

I have a 99 EK, and it has white light for the guage cluster....

but thinking of doing the amber conversion to it...

so I am wondering which one would be more strain on your eyes when driving at night, white or amber?

I like the amber look. Not sure which one strain the eyes more though.

Actually the least strain on your eyes would be a green light (spent alot of hours on NVGs), but amber will be easier on your eyes since that's one of your choices.
