HEEEELPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im changing my suspension right now!! need help!!!
can anyone show me any good threads about changin shocks and springs on a DA? im going to put in tein s.tech's and tokico blues from a ef...HELP!!!
how do you NOT know how to change the shocks and springs. If you don't know how, you should not be attempting this job. Or you should have researched this before you started this job.
But I'll give you a few hints.
Fronts:
1. Take out the damper pinch bolt on the fronts.
2. Take out the bolt holding the shock fork to the lower control arm.
3. Take off the 2 shock mounting nuts in the engine bay.
Rears:
1. Take out the lower shock bolt.
2. Take off the 2 shock mounting nuts in the rear hatch section.
Honestly, if you don't have the common sense to figure it out, just pay someone to do it.
Or go buy yourself a Haynes manual from Autozone. It will be your best $20 every spent.
Good luck.

took me 9 hours to change all 4 springs on my dc4 and needed an air compressor to get off stuck bolts on strut tower...
biggest safety tip is watch out for the spring and bolt from flying and hitting someone and/or someone's car

GOOD LORD!!! lol.. thats crazy. newbs.. gotta love them...
SERIOUSLY!!!! everyone that does NOT know what they are doing, go get a HAYNES Manual for your car. They cost $20 from Autozone. It will teach you everything you know.
It took me 2hrs max when I had my 92 GSR and now I can change my shocks and springs on my 00 GSR in less than an hour. And I am not using an air compressor or impact gun. Buy or rent a spring compressor for around $15.
It really is NOT a hard job. It is VERY simple.

i gave up cuz some bolts are tooo too hard to get off, i hit em with the impact gun and nothin so im just going to save my money go to my local honda dealer and order all those bolts new to make my life a lot easier. i'll destroy the ones that're rusted on
If they are rusted on, yes you will need new bolts.
Get a grinder and put a cutting wheel on it and cut the nuts off the end and hammer the rest of the bolt out. It should only be the 4 big bolts on the lower control arm. The rest of the bolts should come out.
