Concerning best ECU for Turbo application on my H23
So I have a 93' H23 that I bought a turbonetics kit for and Im throwing out the FIC, additional injectors, and MSD boost timing controller. I plan on boosting about 8-9 psi... I want to get the Hondata S300 but I don't know which ECU to get... P28 or P72... I want the EGR working and was wondering if the IABs can still be controlled under boost? Do I need bigger injectors? If so what size would be best for a max boost of 10 psi?
Kinda hard to determine what injector size you would need based on PSI. 10 psi could mean 250whp or 350+whp based on what turbo you used.
p72 can control IAB and has EGR functionality.

I'm not sure why you think boosting your car has anything to do with a vacuum opperated solenoid.
If the ecu does not support IABs then it does not, if it does it does.
Thats not as hard as your making out is to be. If you want to keep all that junk then get a P72.
If it were me and i planned on keeping the H23 head, i would use the P74/75 teg LS ecu and delete the EGR and remove the IAB plate all together.
What are you tunning on?

You mean what kind of dyno am I tunning on? I know IABs work on vacuum so I'm a little confused as to how the ecu controls them and I was wondering about power losses when boosted with no IABs...

The IABS work on vacuum and electrical signal. There is a connector on the vacuum box.
Without IABs you will loose some tq at the lower end of the rpm band. It's all about what turbo setup you use and your tuning as to whether or not you need/want them.
I think he's asking what are you using to tune your boosted car?

What set you on S300? Im just wondering cause I am going to turbo my car and was going to use s300 like you are. Then I did some searching around and found Neptune RTP. It seamed to be the same and it is 200 dollars cheaper. They have great support and give free updates when they come out. its also incorporates blue tooth in the system so you can go wireless when tunning.
This is just something that I found. I am still not set on either one, but am leading toward the RTP.

Well I'm going to a local shop to get it tuned on a dyno, they have tuned many vehicles with Hondata and are authorized by Hondata so I guess you could call them professionals... I chose the s300 because I like the fact that u can use a usb laptop to connect with it and I've been hearing of Hondata nearly all my life so naturally I looked at them. I saved up enough cash to do virtually what ever I want, I just want this done the right way and want my lude to be reliable!
So if I'm looking to keep it under 300Hp, am I gonna need bigger injectors and if so which ones should I get?
mikesta21 I had my pop ups disabled and never got your PMs till now... this darn trial membership doesn't let me do crap!

Ah did see the S300 comment from your original post
.
Yes get bigger injectors.
Like i said if your stuck on keeping both the EGR and IABs you must run a P72. Its just not what i would do.
