LS has the longest gear ratios, which can be better for turbo. something to research

I have a B16 tranny on my gsr motor and if your doing alot of highway i wouldn't suggest using it. Im at 4k doing 75 and i hate it. I know you didnt list it but if you can afford it get a type r.

b16 trans, @ red line 7800rpm
1st- 38.2mph
2nd-58.6mph
3rd-84.6mph
4th-111.5mph
5th-145.5mph
Cruising @70mph @3752rpm

gsr trans, @ red line 7800rpm
1st-38.2mph
2nd-64.9mph
3rd-90.7mph
4th-119.3mph
5th-156.8mph
Cruising @70mph @3482rpm

ls trans, @ red line 7800rpm
1st-39.4mph
2nd-67mph
3rd-100.3mph
4th-131.8mph
5th-178.3mph
Cruising @70mph @3063rpm

This comparison was done with a 23.4" tire. Just to show the difference in the gearing rpm speed wise. The b16 tranny with quicker acceleration, followed by the gsr with slightler longer 2nd-5th gears. Then the ls which was designed for the economy transmisson for the b series. As you can see its setup for ideal gear for gas savings and not revving high to do the needed speed for highway.

so acceleration wise: b16>gsr>ls. Its been proven numerous times on the track by a couple members on here
