My friend is running a 100 shot direct port nitrous setup by NOS. He already has good plugs, and his car has been running perfect w/ this setup for a long time, he is beginning to wonder if he needs an upgraded ignition, i think that he wanted the MSD 6a or something along those lines. Does he need it? And if so Why? And if not why? Thnx, i'm just trying to learn more!

 

No, because the stock ignition is just fine. Unless he has a lot of carbon build-up on his plugs or his dyno graph is rough in the top end, don't bother.
