i had the same problem i took a razor blade and some windex and it came off. Spray the window down with the windex and then hold the blade at a 45 degree and clean the window, No it wont scratch the window.

I tried both, but not at the same time. I will give that a try. Thanks!

Don't use acid on the front windshield!

Btw, 0000 steel wool works too.

I tried it and got nothing.

Out of the many different things I have tried, the steel wool was the most effective. It just takes a long time.

your automotive car wax..yeap the **** you used to wax your car..i've done it to mines. the window is sssoo cleeeaaaan and smooth afterwards. and no smudges or swirls or glears at all. give it a try and water beads up and rolls off and leaves no water marks.

To give a heads up, they might not be water spots, but acid burns instead (from acid rain). Nothing in this thread worked on mine besides fine steel wool.

Of course remember that a flat razor will remove or damage tint (in the event you're trying to remove it from the inside of the window on a tinted window).

Also be careful with the defroster lines.
