New GTS compound
Hello,
Around two years ago I bought front and rear cobalt GT-Sport pads for my integra. After daily driving and a couple of track events I wore out the fronts several months ago. The rears still appear to have at least half their depth left though. I bought the new GTS compound for the front this week because I have a track event coming up. My question is will the new compound that is more aggressive put too much brake bias up front compared to the less aggressive rear compound?
Thanks,
Ryan

As you progress in your driving ability, you will actually want a more aggressive pad up front than the rear. Search on this site and you will probably find many threads.
Have fun.

What tires are you running? If you have ABS or are good at modulating your brakes a second set of pads would be the best way to go (to get more aggressive). On my car (96 Integra RS) I have run Cobalt's XR3 in the front and the GT in the rear both with street tires and RA-1's. I will be running their new XR5's in the rear next month at the ITR Expo.
Hay you tried to give Cobalt a call yet? They have great customer service!!!
Good luck

I'm going to assume he's not on R-comps if he's choosing those pads and asking this question. Given that, any of the XR-pads will suck with a street tire
