Default Engine Builders: Where to get a helper spring?

Due to the spec b's and milled head I have no idea how far I can advance my cams before I have contact. So I have to check some valve to piston clearences and I was going to use a helper spring instead of the stock valve springs. This will allow me to check the clearence at each degree with out have to remove the head a million times (using clay).

Thanks,
Craig

Craig - I just ordered Mike Belben's Degree Kit this morning and it comes with the mounting fixture, dial indicators, degree wheel, and a pr. of low tension springs. If you don't have everything yet, this is a great package.

if you are deg. them in..then you wont have to worry about piston to valve clearence...i've done a few b18's with B's and C's that had about 20thou off the head and stock deck w/ a 2layer gasket that only took a little bit of advancing.

Mikes site designer took off on him a while back and he can't change anything on it. He is very busy with a non-automotive job so he might not respond to you right away.

Email Mike @ mike_belben@yahoo.com

He can give you all the details. My VTEC B-series kit w/degree wheel was $290 shipped. He offers several kits and the degree wheel is an option.
