Default Spoolin Peformance Exhaust

Ive been wanting to upgrade my exhaust to 3" for awhile. I found that Spoolin Performance has a 3" alumized exhaust for $180. Is anybody running this? How was fitment? And how long does alumized metal last before rusting? Here is the exhaust: http://www.spoolinperformance.....html

And one more question. I want to put a magnaflow muffler on the end. And Im not quite sure which one to choose. They have like 4-5 different series. Anybody have a part number you are using and possibly a sound clip?

actually, magnaflow doesn't have many 3" inlet mufflers.....go on their website and check 'em out.

There won't be any noticeable difference in sound due to the turbo with any of their import style mufflers.

As for how long the mild steel will last.......just paint it!

They will prob charge more shipping but... Either way I have that exhaust and its great product!!

Not true. I have a 3" inlet 4" outlet Magnaflow on my car. Also, i'm looking at their site right now and found a good handfull of 3" inlet mufflers. You need to look harder.

I must not be reading that right, but it says it's a 2" inlet.

I've looked on there a lot because I like magnaflow's products and have used many of them, but I couldn't find many 3" inlet mufflers (at least that I liked)....do they just come in various sizes in the same style?

Not at the moment. The car is in pieces right now, but should be up and running in about 2 weeks. At that point i should have a few videos of it at the dyno.

Apparently i linked the wrong one above. The one i run is a single outlet and the part # is 14828

Just for fun, here's my old 2.5" setup. I was running a SPoolin Performance log, 2.5" dp and exhaust with a resonator and small inline muffler at the tip. I thought it sounded pretty nice. The vid is pretty crappy so heads up

pretty crappy is more than an understatement haha

if you all want, i got a 3" on ebay stainless steel for 230 shipped for my integra, i believe civic ones are even cheaper, if you dont like the muffler you can change it out and still have a stainless exhaust for sub $300, fit was pretty darn good for the price
