Default Blue smoke fix? turbo b16

Well, I have a slight problem right now. I've noticed I had excessive blowby when I was NA and now that I'm boosted the condition has gotten worse. Car is blowing blue smoke while decelerating and sometimes while im accelerating also. I have my breather vented out to the atmosphere and as of right now I'm having a friend replace my rings and valve seals. My question is that do you guys think this will fix my problem? Also what tolerances on ring gap should I be looking for? I've searched already and haven't found an answer about reusing pistons and installing new rings for an FI vehicle.

Thanks.

Well I would have told you to replace the rings and valveseals but you're already doing that.

I don't remember the ring gap spec though.

Honestly, I've never found a Bseries that doesn't burn some oil, lol.

Haha yea I understand that, I just want that peace of mind of blowing less smoke out the exhaust so I don't have to see little clouds of smoke here and there while looking at my rear view mirror.

Probably the valve seals if they've never been changed and the engine runs good.

It just might be, I didn't replace those when I was doing my timing belt, head gasket and misc seals.
