Go be smart and safe and check your oil level before driving again.

I remember seeing something about this in the manual, but I dont remember what

Did oyu think of checking it?

I remember it says it should stay on for a few seconds then dissapear. If its on for 10 sec or more (or something like that) or on constantly, you need to do whatever it says in the manual. I think it said stop driving immediately

Could be a failing oil pressure switch.

Check engine oil, if oil is fine.. You need to check your oil pressure.

what weight oil are you using that could be the reason it takes so long for the light to come off. because it takes too long for the pump to build up pressure because the oil is to thick, it should be 5/20.

honda recommends 5w30. and yes, check the oil level.

another troubleshooting tip is turn ignition to number 2, where you're heat and a/c works, and power windows wokr without car running, and see if the red oil light stays solid...
or if it does the same thing
