Hi,

Everytime i turn my car on..my oil light comes on for a second and turns right off and never comes on while im driving. Is this normal?

my car does the same thing, and I just got the oil changed. Everything is fine.

Yes, the reason the light comes at all and then goes out once you've started the engine is to tell you, that the "oil pressure check circuit"
is working. It's when the light doesn't come on when you start the car that you have a problem. Or while the engine is running, of course.

The oil light is on when the car is ignited and running. And then it turns off. I am assuming you guys are thinking the oil light is on before i actually ignite the car. Just wanted to clear this up and make sure everyone understands eachother.

Yes, I know what you're talking about. My car does the same. All the lights are on when my ignition is on the on click. After I ignite the car on , the oil light and the abs light stays on for another second or so and then turns off. I think it's perfectly normal.
