Mini me HP Increase???
Hey i have a D15B1 Engine i bored the cylinders out .020" over and got new pistons and rebuilt the motor!! but now im thinking about putting a vtec head on, the D16Z6 Head on to the D15B1 Block so i was wondering if it would increase the hp and by how much???

You realize a stock B20 averages at about 130 ft/lbs of torque to the flywheel .....Stop pulling numbers out of your ***.

to hit 160 on a sohc you would def need high compression pistons, lightweight flywheel, a cai, a/f intake manifold, a good stage 2 cam or something, good headers, chipped ecu, plus a GOOD tune and you would be lucky to hit 160

But to get to your question. You would see a small increase in HP, maybe 15 +/-
Would it be worth doing? depends on if you have the extra time and money to put into it.
I personally have the y7/y8 one myself, and i did notice the difference with HP and TQ but i think your better off in getting a B16 or something else. Better in the long run IMO.
It was a good learning exp but, If i was to go back knowing what i do now id would have just saved, waited to get a b16 or b18.
