If i'm not on track here, please let me know where I messed up. LOL
I think I figured out the story behind the target afr map. From the way I see it, the target afr table adjusts the main fuel table when the ecu is in closed loop so that the exhaust afr's reflect the target afr table as closely as possible, which would be at low rpm's or at idle. Therefore, if I wasn't going to use closed loop, then wouldn't the target afr's be useless to me? I just don't see why I wouldn't want to run a drag car in open loop. ??????????????
Also, I have read that target afr's are for when something like autotune is used so that instead of adjusting the maps yourself, you could let the ecu alter itself so it could get as close to the target afr table as possible. I guess this is right.
I'm going to be using BRE.
