Hey I have been taking in a lot of water lately, sometimes it happens other times it doesn't. I already fixed the taillight and seals, so that is out. I only found one thread and it was about the sunroof drain off tube possibly being the culprit or the antenna, the antenna is in good shape, aside from the motor not letting it go up and down so it is permanently fixed up, which is fine. It's been that way for 5 years. Any other possible places to look?

my previous post mentions taillight setup has been addressed.... anywhere specific on the hatch, I have scanned around the whole thing and have found nothing wrong with the gasket on there. There is no water on any of the interior panels themselves.
This thread is full of info on leaking water issues and how they fixed them.

Your best bet is gonna be pull the rear panels out of the hatch.. close the trunk.. lay the back seats down and let your buddy spray with a water hose.
Water can leak from the antenna, taillights, gaskets, sunroof drain, rear hatch drain.
Try undoing the drain lines and blowing them out with an air compressor hose.

Where did you drill the hole, since I have 2 pairs of tailights I am planning to drill several on each side so the water drains behind the bumper, The issue for me is that the lights fill up with water then spill into the trunk, if it can't fill up, it shouldn't enter the trunk.
I had the same problem with one of the taillights filling with water and pouring into the trunk. I ran silicone around where the lens meets the casing of the taillight and this seems to have fixed the problem.

I did this and water was still leaking into the tailights, it seems to be entering through the gaskets. I have new ones too!

ha yea water was running in my trunk too but i found out that the gasket on the taillight was missing about 3 nuts on the inside and once i put new ones on there, the water stopped coming in. where is the water inside your trunk? is it right behind the taillight or is it somewhere else?

No nuts are missing, I think the issue is the gaskets get soaked and water gets into the tailight and overflows into the trunk. All drain tubes are intact and clear.

gaskets are fairly new, just seems that they are not waterproof so they get soaked and then the seal is no good anymore and water gets into the tail light and then over flows.
