Default Hasport hydraulic conversion

I'm trying to put a sohc vtec with hydraulic tranny into a 90 EF... Purchased the hasport hydro kit... it came with the slave converter and a bracket that bolts to the top of the tranny (for the top tranny mount), along with the rear L bracket so you can use that tranny in a ef.

Problem is the stock tranny mount and the stock driver mount will not bolt up.. along with the rear L bracket they provided.

I've done a B hydraulic conversion in my own car a few yrs ago didnt have any problems... I know when you take the oem rear mount out of the car your supposed to use the hasport one and move it over a slot.. But it didnt come with one so I assumed you can use the existing mount with the Hasport L bracket..Only thing i can think of your supposed to use all the hasport mounts as well but they dont tell you that when you buy this kit.

I changed the driver side motor bracket from the stock motor along with the driver mount.. and tried using the stock tranny mount and its just not happening..

Anyone do a sohc conversion with this yet and have the real info i need??

HaSport call them instead of frustrating yourself. You paid them for their product and they will back it and give you the info you need.

There was actually a write up in the FEB/MAR 08 issue of HondaTuning.

The stock transmission mount does work on the billet adapter you just need to knock the stud out of the mount.
The stock rear mount needs to be moved to the other set of holes on the rear crossmember.
Using the stock engine bracket and mount on an obd1/2 engine does not position it correctly.
For obd1/2 engines using the 2 bolt offset bracket we offer a drivers side mount for $149 that places the engine correctly.
