Battery light comes on and off during drive. Usually my battery light will come on during 2500 to 4500 rpms. At idle it will shutoff and anything higher than 4500 it will go off as well. You guys think it’s an issue with the Battery or the Alternator it’s self? I’m going to get everything tested once I get off of work today. But ideas would be great to hear.
Battery light has nothing to do with the battery it has to do with the charging system. Replace the alt ASAP before it leave you on the side of the road. Also when you get the new one make them bench test it so that you know it is good.
I walked out with a "new" alternator and it left me 8 hours from home. I am not the only one that has bought a "new" bad alternator.

I second this.. your alternator is most likely going out.

well just went to autozone, had the old alt tested and it passed with flying colors. any how, i've always been a person to listen to Toad. So i've paid the 100.00 bucks for the new one. Then it's off for a test drive...

This also happened to me a few months back......and like everyone has been saying it was the alternator. Got an oem one from honda and the light hasnt been a problem since.
