Default Ok to run vortec sc w/ stock ecu?

I was wondering if you can get away with running the vortec sc kit on the stock ecu for a couple days? My buddy has a greddy emanage ultimate plug and play but i dont know what map is on it now and dont want him to up it up until we get his lap top sorted out. He has a walboro 255lph pump but no fpr.. yet. Finishing up today and want to see if we can get away with "light" driving.?

Pics of the project.

NO

1. you need to convert your s2000 to obd1 and use an ecu from a 1990 accord for this to work
2. your valve cover looks like crap

at least you have the sweet warning label from the k&n filter on your airbox though

are you connecting the black box to the wiring harness to hide boost? Are you using the greddy to run map sensor duties? Are you going to use stock FPR with the greddy controlling fuel pulse width? if you say yes to any of these, dont drive the car and wait! and get your car tuned by a profressional... not your 'buddy' with a shoddy laptop

the car isnt mine.. i did all the work on it for my buddy. I want the emanage software onto his laptop so i can see what is on the emanage as of now. He bought everything used. The sc kit had no management with it thus him buying the emanage ulti. Its going in next month to the tunner on the 16th so the belt is off till then :D Here she is completed.

without the FMU or Black Box I would not run on the stock ECU. Then again I would never run it on the greddy either. AEM EMS or Hondata or stock ecu with black box.

Damn Graf you change avatars more than i change underwear LOL

Yes, your valve cover is destroyed.

No, you should not run on a stock computer, unless you want a reason to rebuild your motor for something that actually DELIVERS power out of VTEC like a turbo.

DO NOT USE THE FMU, buy K-pro conversion or AEM EMS.

You own an S2000, not a crx, don't cheap out.
