Default Bad misfiring in dual carb ZC

Hi guys..

Getting bad misfiring from a dual carb ZC motor.. Have swapped spark plugs and cleaned out dizzy..

Suggestions guys?

i: like im sure most of the other people around here dont know much about carbed vehicles, im going to school for automotive technology right now and carbs arnt even in the curriculum. sorry bud.

Really carboned up.. Have removed the spark plugs and cleaned them, it started up but mis-fired and cut out. Took plugs out again and they were fully carboned up again

You could either be running rich, have retarded timing, or a weak spark. I would guess running rich. Is there a choke on those carburetors?

what dogg said... make sure the choke isn't sticking... play around with the mixture screw... start on the lean side of things and tune from there. makes sure you dont tighten the screw too much or you'll ruin the needle.
