Default BLOCK HONING

I have a spare block that I am going to rebuild, and was going to give it a good hone to take out some lines caused by the previous rings/pistons. I have two grade honing stones available to me in 180 grit and 280 grit. Which one would be better to do this jobs, or should I use a combination of both?
