Default Will this change my tune ?

In the next couple days i plan on changing my old distrubitor to a new one. My question is will this affect my tune or will i be fine if i just check the timeing before and after with a timing light.

yeah like stated just make sure its "Synched" back to its orginal position so it doesnt throw timing off.
