I have a generic crappy old auto page alarm system. Not to sure on the model just yet my remote says XT - 33 on it. But my question is, can I purchase a better auto page alarm system with a longer range and just swap it out with the current connections that are there? I had the crappy 1 professionally installed and I want to know if I can jus buy another but better auto page and just swap it out until I can afford more features for it.

yes as long as its not hooked up for remote start
you can swap out the brain and program the remotes and youll be golden

ive worked with these alarms for a while now and there simple to figuer out id go with the 420 or the 718
