So i Just bought my GSR a couple Months ago, and the last Mod i put in it is the Password JDM CF Powerchamber Intake. Mostly Everything is Stock besides ITR Cams and ITR Exhaust Manifold. I Recently Lowered my Vtec Kick-in point at
L -> H = 4300
H -> L = 4800
with an Apex`i Vtec Controller. For Some Reason when i hit Vtec, it isn't kicking as hard or as loud as before. Could someone give me some Suggestions what could be wrong ? Thanks in advance.

by lowering the vtec point you are changing the part of the powerband you switch into when going to the vtec cam profile. therefore when you go into vtec you are not producing as much power as you were before when you had the vtec set higher so it does not feel as strong when vtec engages.

Your vtec will not be as loud, and your ecu is not tuned properly to to engage there... You could get it tuned, and that would help a bit.. Put it back where it should be, and you will hear it fine.. unless you are low on oil.. That would cause vtec to engage half assed..
