VTEC ???
i just sold my turbo ls and just got a 98 GSR, The VTEC kicks in at around 6200 is this kinda high or is it normal. And if I get a vtec controler what is a good set point with a turbo and n/a
Thast wayyy too high for vtec unless you had some stage 3 cams or something. Vtec should be 4400 rpm stock, but you could bump it to 4800 for a lil more "pop" if you would like.

Yeah but he said specifically that it wasnt the IAB, maybe he was watching under the hood at the diaphram on the IM. And also, The IAB doesnt kick in anywhere near 6200 unless it has been modified.
Bonzai, So you see/hear the secondaries open(~5750) and then a few hundred rpm later("6200") you hear/feel vtec pop?
