hi, i have a turbo del sol, d16z6, my vtec doesn't work, and i want to replace the solenoid, but does that mean that i have to take the intake mani off, or can i leave it on?, also, how does it come off, its not just 3 bolts is it? pics would be helpful, also, is there anything i should watch out for when replacing? like shooting oil or anything like that ?

 

Its just those 3 bolts and it comes right off, you dont have to take anything else off. When you take it off look at the screen and see if its clogged, also get a new gasket/screen for installation. Mine was like $16 when i got it.
