Default T-belt change, which bolts to loctite?

I was searchings as a last minute precaution and discovered people are using loctite on the crank pulley bolt, timing cover bolts, etc.

So my question is, should I Loctite these bolts? And if so which ones should I and which ones shouldnt I use it on?

Im trying to get this done tonight so any feedback would be great.

There's no need for Loctite on any of them. Plus it makes things a royal pain in the *** if you have to take it off in the future. Use a torque wrench.

just like what hatchling says, no need for loctite.

as for myself i put it on my crank pulley bolt when I do it, i just want to make sure the crank pulley doesnt fall off when driving.

I have access to air tools so i can bust it open when i need to in the future

I always use a torque wrench. I just seen people were using it just as a protection. I will skip the loctite for now and torque to spec.

Hmmm so just the crank pulley bolt? Im thinking of skipping loctite alltogether. I just bought an impact wrech just for this job becasue I cant loosen the bolt without it.

Now Im even more confused. Man its gonna suck if my pulley flys off lol.

you dont need to, but like i said i just do it to be safe than sorry. a good compressor and a gun will bust out the nut with loctite in no time

its very rare, but there has been crank pulleys that fly off while driving
