2 simple brake line questions (thanks in advance) ***PICS INSIDE***

before you flame me...i looked through every topic and i just couldn't seem to find the answers that i was looking for....
basically i need to know how to remove the entire brake line from this little tab thats on the chassis...(of course after i unbolt the 10mm from the rest of it)
here are a few pictures to aid you
also this is off of an 99 SI...would a brake line(same part) off a 96 dx work?...i noticed the tabs look a bit different...thanks in advance guys!

yea just pull that clip out and then unthread the nut. If its stuck in there good, you'll have to bang it out carefully. U will want to reuse this piece.

1.) Grab the curved portion of that metal retaining tab with a pair of pliars. Needle-nose will NOT work.
2.) While pulling, jiggle the pliars from side to side, as it helps to loosen the clip and makes it easier to remove.
3.) Once the clip is off, use two appropriate tubing wrenches to undo the connection between the hard line and the soft brake line. Have a container ready to catch the fluid. If your master cylinder is open, the fluid will come out much faster.
4.) Remove the banjo-bolt and washer from the rear of the caliper, catching all excess brake fluid in a container.
Reinstallation is the reverse. Reuse the clip by setting it flat against the chassis tab and hammering it with a rubber mallet.
