Hello everyone, I bought my car and the previous owner had Koni shocks and H&R springs installed on the car.
I looked under the car and these shocks are SILVER... I have never seen a silver Koni shock for an Integra before. Let me give you a few more details:
*again, silver color
*have spring cups (not coilover)
*externally adjustable rebound
*it says "Koni Holland" on the side (not that that probably matters lol)
I looked at Koni's site and the closest thing I could match was their 2812 LB series, except mine don't have black bottoms on them, and, again, they don't have coilover adjustment on them.

Possible Re-paint? Maybe its not even painted just stripped of the paint? Are the Spring Cups welded to the shock body? Are the adjusters(top of the shock) painted? Have any Paint overspray on them?
You could possibly remove a wheel and look at all the stamped information on the shock body, thats the only way you will know for sure what type they are, Part #.

the person stripped the paint probably off regular koni sports.
someone here did that. cant remember the name, maybe 94eg?

What I'm really curious about is if they ARE in fact the long bodies, how far is it safe to lower the car? the springs that are on there right now lower the car 1.75 inches I believe, but I wanted to go just a bit lower than that, to eliminate wheel gap. I would like to lower the back to where I can fit about one or two fingers between the body and the tire and the front to where you can fit one finger between the body and the tire, respectively. So any info on shock travel and lowering ability would be great!
They're powdercoated a silver metallic and there is no overspray. I'm 99.9% positive this is how they came. The spring cups are welded to the shock body just like the factory shocks.
I'm up at school until the weekend. I'm going to try to find my lug wrench this weekend and take the wheels off, I need to rotate the tires anyway... I'll see if I can get a part number too, but I'm completely baffled!!!
they aren't 2812, THEY AREN'T 2812s
Koni was the supplier for some of the H&R "coilover" setups. You probably have something like that.
It is probably the "H&R sport cup" that is on there

ah that makes more sense! Thank you, they look exactly like them. However, I believe mine are the "touring" setup. So if I were to get, say Ground Control "coilover" springs, I would probably be better off buying a shock with a shorter stroke? I don't want to tuck the wheels because I know that the lower you go the worse the center of gravity gets due to a raised roll center... And I don't want that (at least not too much...)
