axel keeps popping out!!! dont wanna strip my baby and sell her!! helpppP!!!!!!
well this is the problem i have bought three brand new axels!!! and all of trhem have broken as soon as i make a wide turn or a short turn i think the frame is messed up but it might be something else please let me know!!!!! cause i dont wanna get rid of my integra!!! i love it but man i just cant figure why the axels(left axel only for those who are wondering) please get back to me a.s.a.p.
It comes out from the tranny side? There is a ring that goes around the shaft. I think it is a locking ring. Not for sure but is that ring there? only thing i can think of. How do you know its the frame? Did you get hit from that side, and after that you had that problem. Not sure how it can come out so easy. Everytime i pull my axel it is a BIG pain.
well cause one night i was driving and i didnt see it was a dead end so i pushed on the brakes really hard!! and hit a curb ( the front just hit the curb not the side) i bent my handling bars so i thought thats what could of messed it up but that was a long time ago like 4 months ago the axel coming out is recent!! and there is no ring there?? i didnt see one?? i just pop the axel in myself which is really easy!! but im just not sure if its on the tranny side its the left side ( the driver side) soo what could it be???

Could you please take a moment to tell us more about this, about your experience with this?
In my case, my DC2 ITR track car will pop at axle at the transmission. We seem to have decided it has to do with the nose of the car being lower than the axle length was designed for, so it puts pressure on the clip.
But...what do I know.

It sounded like (to me) that the new axles (with new circlips) are coming out of the intermediate shaft housing. He said that he can pull them out easily by hand, new clips and all. If the shaft is stationary and he can remove the axles with very little effort, I figure there's something wrong with the shaft.
Then again, when I posted, I hadn't seen the other post about him destroying the front end of the car.
To the OP, how hammered is your suspension? Can you post up pics at all?
