Well I am about to order CTR pistons for my gsr and people are telling me that the pistons WONT match with the rods and the other half are telling me they do?? What is the truth here.. I have a gsr and wanting to put ctr pistons in it for a N/A car..

come on guys!!! i am wanting to buy these tonight and i am wanting to know if this is the right kit...

 

you could always go with Itr pistons... will match right up and will provide you with higher compression,... that same company sells them.... the b16b pistons should work too may require some slight machine work but either way will work, the itrs would be the easiest upgrade., are u using the stock rods??? if so the pins will need to be pressed out, let us know whats going on

 

yes i am going to us stock rods.. but what will my compression be.. cause i have a fully built head and now working on bottom end..

cause with the B16b pistons it will put my compression to 12:40:1

and also trying to think what all i will have to upgrade so i dont hurt nothing..

dont go with the pct pistons, im doing a similar build, i decided the best oe honda pistons would be jdm itr pistons.

btw u are better off using oem piston rings
