LS B18 swap questions.
Hey guys, a couple stupid questions here.... I'm dropping a b18b1 into a 94 dx hatch that is automatic, i actually have a 93 si shell that im removing the b18b1 from and swapping all the parts over to the 94. First question is, that it seems like the trans mount frame bracket on the 94 is different than on the 93 because the 94 is an auto, is there a mount available or should i drill out the spot welds and swap the brackets over from the 93? Is there any way to retain power steering and a/c on the new engine? If so, i would like to keep the d series ac compressor and p/s pump... what brackets should i get? Im sure i will have a few more questions but this will do for now. Thanks guys!!

Yes hasport and other companys make auto to 5spd mounts so you don't need to drill the bracket off (try searching for one on ebay). To use a sohc a/c compressor on a dohc you need either a 94-97 del sol vtec (the one with the b16) or a 97-01 Crv b20 a/c compressor bracket (cheap at honda and it is aluminum). Both of those brackets allow you to retain the sohc a/c compressor. Forget about swapping in power steering (unless your Dx came with it) because the steering racks won't interchange unless you swap the whole K member from the Si. The car will feel more stable without it at high speeds.
