I`m from Europe and I`m interested in your experiences with S2K owners...
Since this car is out I feel offended by them. They are better, more expensive, faster, better track drivers, HE-men, masters of the universe, god in person.....
They talk **** about the "old" ITR, especially on track they call it a loser.

I can`t believe that. For me, the ITR is the only true track-***** Honda ever built, except the JDM spec RSX.

What are your opinions...?

most S2000 owners i've met have been cool....


its the BMW owners (not all, a select few) that I know that are the way you describe your S2K guys

 

I love the S2000..thats probably going to be next after the R....I havnt experienced the things you have, i just pull up to one..give them a and i usually get a if the know what a ITR is..then we punch it...

 

Just tell them you'll meet them on the track.

Let the results do the talking.

i never ran across an s2000 owner that was a jerk. but i wouldn't stoop down to their level. if they want to be jerks, then let them. doing so would show others that you are no better than they are. just show them what's up on the track. that's my advice. don't let it bother you, just use it a motivational tool to become a better track driver.

 

I`ll be on track for three days in August (Nürburgring Nordschleife).. And I PRAY for meeting an S2000 there... But even if he`s faster.. I don`t like this spitting on my holy cow ==> Type R = legend

DON´T WORRY.

They´re damm slow, to much weight.
Just remove your back seats, trunk plastics, spare wheel, etc...

Panther Plus front brake pads, R4S rear brake pads, Motul 600 brake fluid.

That way your brakes will not be an issue at all.

 

I´m using Ferodo DS3000 Endurance front brake pads.

I think the problem is not everyone who buys an S2000 is an enthusiast.


So how do ITRs fair against S2Ks at the track?

 

i went with s2ksocal.com today to go drive around up in GMR and an ice cream meet in claremont, they were all really cool. i have no idea what they are talking about, and as for heavy=slow. hell no, those things are quick.
