Default fuel pump constant priming issue

i have a car that some one else did a dpfi to mpfi swap in it and hacked it all to pieces and then tried to fix it by adding a ry wire hannes to the mix. the problem is that no matter what you do the fuel pump will not stop priming it just always stays on i have searched all through this car and have yet to be able to find the issue causing this problem. periodically if you unplug main relay it will still run.... the same goes for the resistor box. however of you unplug the round 20 or so wire plug next the resistor box it shuts off. the only other way i have been able to get it to stop wanting to prim is by disconnecting the ground on the thermostat housing...... but im at a loss. i have yet to have any luck with finding the short or possibly over looking a miss wire but and ideas would be greatly aprreciated thanks in advance.

wow dude. Get a new harness and start over. Maybe some of the yellow/blacks are back feeding into the main relay circuit. If thats even possible. If its a hack job, I usually just tell the people to get a new harness
