Hey guys. got a 01 type r and i find that its guzzling alot of gas. i get about 300-350 KM per tank. i use 94 octane and dont rev above 4k. it has a arc intake, dc sports stainless header, high flow cat, 2.5 inch b pipe and a spoon axel back. (the exhaust system got put in couple of days ago but i had the problem from before) i also smell tons of gas fumes inside the car when driving which gives me a massive headache.

just wondering if anyone knows what could be causing this? i am running a chipped p28 obd1 ecu. The car was on the dyno but wasnt finished tuning because the cat died and the wideband o2 sensor was getting false reading.

other then switching the ecu to a stock one and giving it a try any other thing i can do or could be wrong with it for it to run super rich????

 

Tune the chipped ecu or put the stock one back in
