Idle Air Control

Would a bad idle air control valve make your car lag ? Cause my car doesnt seem to pull as hard since that went on me..

hows your idle?? if your IACV is bad your idle should surge constantly like mine used too

to OP: If it ^ needs cleaning the idle may lag, if it is faulty it may make a hunting idle but upon acceleration the IACV does nothing.
