On a wing and a prayer, I'm curious as to see if my S2K I just picked up has been seen around here before... picked it up near Seattle, Has a aftermarket deck, used to have a sub setup in the trunk and sporting a Fujita CAI. 2001.

Anybody see this baby around or know who let it go?

Very nice pickup. The S2000 following on this site isn't as much as some of the S2000 specialized sites. Try looking in the local forums of http://www.s2kca.com and http://www.s2ki.com

Trust me.... It's gone as soon as I can get to a shop... (none open on Sunday, I tried...)

The guy who had it took the **** and the dealer had a POS 5 speed **** that didn't fit and rattled as I drove 3 hours from Seattle back to Portland....

I had to stop at a 24 hour walmart at 1:30AM on the way and pick up a "Less-POS" shifter to stand driving the car any further. At least it doesn't rattle... It does look like crap and make shifting a pain... but, that's one more reason why I think there needs to be a 24/7 performance warehouse chain.... Every part, whenever we need it...

shhhhh don't tell him about the constant mis-shifts at redline or that i taught my grandma how to drive stick on it in the rain....not to mention i didn't change the oil in like a 15,000 mile time span

or the repeated 9K launches???

 

yea dude...and that i removed the rev limiter and drove around jdm style w/ a cone filter right off the throttle body, after i drained out half the coolant for weight reduction

yea i modded the ecu so i could rev to 10k w/ one temp bar dude, but i set my shift light at 3k just to be safe

yeah cause once VTECH rings and kicks in, you have a half a second to shift...

 

You guys are so finicky around here.... I take it we have lots of fun dynamics at honda-tech... I've heard it's crazy around this place, but hell, you guys are touchy.
