Default ARP head studs for Ls motor question- yes I searched first!

I am doing an ls/vtec swap and when removing the head from a B16 motor, I took out the ARP head studs, as I plan to relocate them to the LS block. I just first need to make sure they will fit correctly and secondly, Do I torque the studs first with an alan key- then tighten down the nut on the top? And if so, what do I torque the nut to? I'm pretty confused as I never have done a head stud WITH nut before.

snug the stud on hand tight and than torque the nut down. oh and i dont think the b16 head studs will work for your ls block/ls vtec.
