Default help with springs

i have an 05 base model, ive been lookin at some springs and tanabe says they have them for 01-05 (ES). what the heck does (es) mean? i dont wanna get the wrong springs. also on another note i was kinda lookin at megan springs and they make them for 01-04 civic, and spring wise i dont think theres any dofference between 04 and 05. i know 04-05's are different from 01-03. but whats up with 04 and not 05?
